Let’s realize, even the subtitle of this section is revealing; it is, “Testing the Spirits” which indicates a lesson / process for doing so.

So, let’s TEST THE SPIRITS.

By itself, 1 John 4:6, could go either way.

But, read more and We see that it describes who is who. It leaves no question.

1 John 3:10, "...the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious:"

1 John 4:1, Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (Indicates one of the things We are testing for; false prophets.)

1 John 4:2 & 3, “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;
3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.” (How do We know? We listen to them and if or when they say they believe in Jesus Christ, BUT DON’T OBEY, they fit into the following:: Smile

1 John 3:15, “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” (Everything else being equal, I have not murdered, Bush has and is practicing murder. & it seems Bush hates Us. By this We know, who is who: I abide, Bush doesn’t.)

1 John 3:17, “But whoever has the world's goods (cannabis for the sick?), and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?” (I AM not the one saying put that sick human in a cage for using that evil plant.)

1 John 3:24, “The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him,” (I say that I AM keeping Christ God Our Father’s commandments. One of the commandments is, do not kill… which seems to indicate Bush is not abiding in Him. Bush can not turn that verse [1 John 4:6] around and say I have the “spirit of error” when I rationalize do not kill and Bush rationalizes killing.)

1 John 3:14, “He who does not love abides in death.” (You can not love someone and kill them at the same time.)

1 John 3:11 & 12, “For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;
12 not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. (This helps to distinguish how murder is not the way. The name Cain, is meant to be substituted with Bush.)

1 John 2:4, “The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;” (This is just one of the verses that has connected with what brought the light of being able to say, Bush does not have access to the truth.)

1 John 2:5, “but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:”….

1 John 2:8, “the one who practices (habitually commits???) sin is of the devil; (Bush, revealed!)

1 John 2:11, “But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”

1 John 2:21, “I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.” (This helps Me know who Christ God Our Father is writing this for; Me and those who obey and attain the Spirit of Truth; those with the spirit of error, are not even being written to. With the Spirit of Truth, these words have meaning that can not be experienced by someone who for instance, practices murder.)

When We test the spirits, We see what the Father sees; hears what the Father hears and know what the Father knows. Bush is disappointing, not just to Me, but to Christ God Our Father who sent Me.

But none of this series of facts prevents Bush from saying what is not true. Bush could just as easily go and tell Christ God Our Father, that I do not use cannabis and so I could not be the anointed.

False prophets, telling what is not true, doesn’t get their name from the book of death to the Book of Life.

Bush and Cheney could use cannabis, but, with out the Spirit of Truth, they wouldn’t receive all the blessings that cannabis has to offer…

Notice, this helps point out that Bush can not turn this scripture around, and this list of points comes just from this area of 1 John. The Bible is full of more places that reveal who is who.

Also notice:

When We test the spirits, We are often just listening to someone reveal themselves… That helps understand why the label, the “self-condemned”, is used (in Titus 3).

Nothing wrong with preaching to the choir, if it makes the choir sing louder. Smile

None-the-less, those who are not so nearly-as-wise, whom we think of as being the bad guys, are still going to be convinced that it is they who are in the right, whether we quote 1 John 2:11, or page 16 of the 1954 Farmer's Almanac, or My Pet Goat in it's entirety.
