LONDON (AP) - Britain is considering setting up secretive courts to make it easier to prosecute terror suspects - and to hold them without charge for longer than the current 14 days - as part of the crackdown following the deadly London bombings, officials said Tuesday.
The Home Office said it was weighing changing the pretrial process to deal with particularly sensitive terror cases, with the aim of ``securing more prosecutions.'' Currently, terror suspects can be held for two weeks without charge; after they are charged, police can no longer question them. Police have asked the government to extend this period to three months.
The anti-terror courts - run by judges with high-level security clearance - would meet behind closed doors ...

actualy this is only the case in CIVIL court cases.
those Muslim clerics (or terrorists as we call all muslims now!!!) are not being charged with terrorism they are charged with murder.
in the case of terrorism people are not charged. the anti-terrorism legislation and 'offenses against the state' legislation means you can be rounded up and locked up in one of the all new concentration camps indefinately!!!there is no trial , you are reviewed by a MILITARY TRIBUNAL consisting of three high ranking military officers!!!
unfortunately the press and even politicians are forbidden to discuss these 'tribunals or der campfs due to a standing D - Notice issued by MI5 (der gestapo) violating a standing d-notice is an act of treason which carries a mandatory sentence of 5 years imprisonment in der campfs , without trial of course.
technicaly i just commited an 'offence against the state' by telling you that and i would invite mr b.liar to drop down on one knee before me and "er dont talk with your mouth full".
