Just got some bad news from Brother Paul (Cannabis Assembly) in the UK...

We live in difficult times where it is nearly impossible to determine just exactly what is the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard...it seems to change daily.
Farmers must now police their land to prevent wild fungi from developing...?

This is the latest verifiable update I have. It's from the forum of a UK grow shop that also retails mushrooms.

Ouch! Not only the bill didn't drop, but apparently the tossers are getting even more articulated in their foolishness. There must be a logic in their thinking process, I just don't see one.
British Citizens, the magic mushrooms your ancestors once had for granted will be a thing of the past. In the year 2005 a group of people decided mushrooms to be banned. Yes, banned. Dried up and fresh alike. Well, it's not the mushroom to be banned actually, but your intentions to consume it: the forbidden fruit of knowledge. Hmm, if I were 14 this ban would make mushrooms even more interesting to me... the 14 years olds countrywide will start to look at the mushrooms growing in their back gardens a little closer, and learn a lot about them.
If you want something to become really popular, interesting and intriguing to kids there is a very simple solution: forbid it and announce loud and clear that "NOBODY CAN DO IT!"
Wrong law, wrong psycology, wrong people taking decisions.
