An Egyptian friend...and Cannabis in the Quran

I have met some very intresting people playing pool. I met an Egyptian from Cairo. I invited him here and I ask him was cannabis in his Holy book the Quran. He said yes and is going to email me where it is in theere. So Im looking forward to recieivng it. Hello Mohammed!

hmm im looking forward to the post of MOhammed since im a muslim myself too, and i couldnt find anything about the use of herb in my religion. all i know about it, is clear for everyone, from almost every religion, IT IS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE SOCIETY/COMMUNITY Shocked

He said it is illegal in Egypt. There didnt seem to much of a language barrior between us Im sure he understood me I asked about /cannabis/hashish. Tell me since your a muslem please...But I suppose you arnt in Egypt either are you?
Anyone know this answer?
We have found in Romes courts history that it was written down that Jesus was crucified by Ceaser (proof outside th bible that Jesus lived and died )Im wondering if anywhere in Egypts history is it writen about Pharoe and Moses and the plagues.

I found a very interesting verse in surah 36 Ya Sin which is generally taken to mean Ya Insan(O man).

80.Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it.

cannabis seems to be obviously refered to hear
