Sounds like not such a good idea to 'be with god' when it deprives you from your basic human feelings. But at the other hand it could be a good thing because it would prevent religious extremists to multiply themselves.

For a woman it is easy to defend celibacy, just hide behind feminism. Men are naked at that point, and some tend to snap for the next available figleaf. Rolling Eyes

I think this commenter understands that spiritual energy once invested into one intention is not available for investment into another. Neither can any way of life be generally discarded only because it is not for everyone. I wouldn´t exactly describe sex without spiritual energy as evil, but it may be boring.

Pepper bro, I came to find out that most Christians have their own personal interpretation of their manual, needless to say that this results in numerous different views of what 'a true Christian' is.

I think they all believe that they are the only true Christian. Wink
