Wow....I guess God doesn't want his followers to ever become enlightened. That's why he calls them sheep.

Now, the question is, going by history and current events. Is it more likely that God doesn't want people to reach enlightenment, or is it more likely that some MEN along the way who wrote and altered those texts didn't want the "sheep" to reach enlightenment?

You know....all we can do in this life is go by the clues that are available to us. Why ANYONE would ignore most of the clues is beyond my ability to fathom.
